My Truth 4 Today: I Will Stay Faithful & Steady

There are seasons in motherhood and business where everything feels loud. Deadlines. Laundry. Big dreams. Growing kids. Growing pains. And if I’m honest, sometimes growing doubts.

But this morning, I felt a gentle whisper in my heart:

Stay faithful.

Stay steady.

Not perfect.

Not rushing ahead.

Just faithful. Just steady.

As a mom raising 2 girls/4 kids — and building Sweet Lane with one of them — I think about how much our daughters watch us. They don’t just hear what we say… they absorb how we respond. They see if we panic or if we pray. If we quit or if we keep showing up. If we chase every trend or stay rooted in who we are.

Faithful means I trust the process — even when it’s slow. Steady means I don’t let emotions drive the car. And honestly? That’s what I want for our girls too.

In a world that tells them to compare, rush, perform, and prove — I want Sweet Lane to whisper something different:

You don’t have to strive to be worthy.

You don’t have to chase to be chosen.

You can grow slow and strong.

So today, my affirmation isn’t loud. It’s grounded.

I will stay faithful & steady in all things so important to me

In my marriage.

In my motherhood.

In my friendships, business….

& in the calling God placed on my life.
